Eaton Corporation announced it is expanding
its 5130 uninterruptible power
system (UPS) product line to include new
1000, 1500 and 2200 VA models.
These line-interactive models are specifically
designed for protecting information
technology (IT) systems, as well as
Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and
EDGE/3G/WiMAX wireless networking
equipment, against damaging power fluctuations
and outages.
With the addition of the new models, the
5130, which is sold with a three-year limited
warranty, helps to meet the growing need in
the marketplace for affordable yet feature rich
power protection. Furthermore, the
new 1000 VA model delivers a true 1000
watts of power compared to competitive
systems that typically offer only 700 watts.
