Cooper Bussmann announced it will hold a series of Electrical Training and Safety Seminars at the first-of-its-kind industrial technology and training facility in Houston, TX, which Cooper Industries recently opened. These important and timely full-day seminars will take place November 12, November 17 and December 4. The seminars will cover a wide range of industry-relevant topics, including Code compliance; industrial control panels and short-circuit current ratings (SCCR), electrical safety and much more. Attendees will earn up to 8 Professional Development Hours (PDH)

Klein Tools offers a new line of hard hats and caps which includes the V-Gard® cap and hat, Advance® cap, Skullgard® cap and hat and Western Outlaw Hat. The new line of hard hats and caps provide a variety of Klein Tools logo branding and color choices as well as four-point Fas-Trac® ratcheting suspension. The V-Gard is designed with a polyethylene shell with four-point Fas-Trac ratcheting suspension. Its standard size fits head sizes six through eight. Cap and full-brim hat styles are available with a selection of white, yellow and blue shell colors. Branding choices include plain front, Klein Tools lineman logo and Klein Tools standard logo. All V-Gard helmet backs contain the Klein logo with an American flag.

Thomas & Betts Corporation announced it continues to offer Ty-Rap promotional materials in support of its marketing campaign for The Original Cable Tie® products, celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2008. The enhanced marketing support follows the introduction of new packaging, merchandising to reinforce its brand position and increase out-the-door sales. The latest addition to the Ballastar line is the B214PU115S50A, which is specifically designed for F14T5 lamps and provides maximum light output for 2-by-2 fixture applications. Switching from full to half output via wall switch or lighting relay, the Ballastar T5 is ideal for offices, classrooms, conference rooms, and more.
