Thomas & Betts has announced that the Color-Keyed® product line has been expanded to offer Flag and Tee Connectors and Motor Lead Disconnects up to 500 MCMin size. The Thomas & Betts Color-Keyed KUBE Flag and Tee Connectors were introduced to enable installers to make 90-degree angles and "T" connections.
With the expansion of this product line, users will find Color-Keyed KUBE Flag and Tee Connectors to be even more versatile. The Color-Keyed KUBE Motor Lead Disconnect provides quick "plug in" connections that do not require nuts, bolts, or other hardware for termination. Motor Lead Disconnects, available exclusively to Thomas & Betts, are now available from 250 to 500 MCM, along with the previously existing for 600V and 5KV applications, as well as wire ranges from #16 through 4/0 AWG.

Leviton announced the introduction of its new Hospital Grade Receptacles designed for use in high magnetic-field environments.
The new Hospital Grade duplex receptacles are made of the same superior quality construction as Leviton's standard Hospital Grade Receptacles but constructed without ferrous materials to allow their use in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) rooms of hospitals, health care facilities, medical buildings, imaging centers and other environments where high-magnetic fields are present.
Available in 15 Amp and 20 Amp, 125 Volt versions, the new HG Receptacles feature impact-resistant thermoplastic nylon covers and bodies and a smooth face that resists dirt and dust.

Electri-Flex Company has introduced its new line of fittings to enhance the Corrlok System line of flexible conduits. The two new styles of fittings, IP 65 and IP 68, come in straight, 45, and 90 degree angled designs. Standard threads are NPT. These connectors are one piece and easily snap right onto the flexible corrugated nylon conduit. A removal tool is included that slips onto the conduit in order to release the engagement teeth. The IP 65 series is liquidtight to spraying oils and water. The IP 68 series is capable of limited water submersion. The Corrlok line provides a very lightweight, liquidtight, flexible raceway alternative that's easy to work with and withstands even the toughest environments.

Lutron Electronics® was presented with a silver "Best of the Times" award for its electrical distributor floor stand display in the 2008 "Design of the Times" competition.
The award was presented in October 2008 at the In-Store Marketing Expo in Chicago and was hosted by the In-Store Marketing Institute. Lutron was recognized in the area of permanent, freestanding, or aisle displays.
